Cop in court for insurance-related murders

JOHANNESBURG - Another police officer has been arrested for allegedly killing people for insurance payouts.

The female officer will appear in a Polokwane court on Friday morning.

It's alleged the 43-year-old orchestrated multiple murders to benefit from insurance claims and payouts.

She is accused of listing herself as a beneficiary and claiming over R10-million since 2019.

Her six victims were all known to her and came from disadvantaged backgrounds.
