Contraband found during Pollsmoor Prison raid

CAPE TOWN - Drugs, cellphones and sharp objects are some of the things found at Pollsmoor Prison in the Western Cape.

They were found during a raid by Correctional Services officials.

The raid is part of festive season security campaigns.

It also follows the arrest of an official caught with drugs to the street value of R1-million.

She is expected to appear in court soon.
