DURBAN - The KwaZulu-Natal government is admitting it's not winning the war against construction mafias in the province.
On Wednesday, assailants stormed eight construction sites, bringing work to a standstill.
It's still unclear what they were demanding.
Now, despite its zero-tolerance stance, government is struggling to cut the head of the mafia.
Public Works and Infrastructure MEC Martin Meyer will visit the affected sites on Thursday.
