JOHANNESBURG - City Power is apologising to Joburg customers for confusion over new blackout schedules.
The utility took over power cut operations from Eskom on Monday.
This left residents confused about the schedule in their areas, especially in the northern suburbs.

Some areas were not cut off, while others had longer than expected outages.
City Power says there's been technical errors during the onboarding of the new schedule.
It's promising to swiftly fix Monday's mistakes.
