Communities bid farewell to Lusikisiki shooting victims

LUSIKISIKI - Communities in Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape are in mourning.

They are burying 15 of the 18 victims of a massacre that occurred just over a week ago.

Eleven victims will be buried in Lambasi village, while four will be laid to rest in KwaBhala village.

Eighteen people, most of them women, were killed in two mass shootings in Ngobozana Village.

One suspect has been arrested and faces 18 murder charges.
