CAPE TOWN - The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) will brief Parliament's Higher Education Committee.
A number of problems related to the scheme will be discussed.
The committee wants feedback on problems with the new direct payment system.
It also wants a progress update on delays in student appeals and approval of accommodation.
Students took to the streets demonstrating against the new funding system.
They were also upset over delays in approvals and insufficient funding for accommodation.
The committee will also receive a briefing from service providers contracted by NSFAS.
