City of Tshwane slaps Shoshanguve residents with power cuts

TSHWANE - Tshwane has joined the city of Joburg, in implementing load reduction.

On Monday, the Tshwane metro started with load reduction in Soshanguve and surrounding areas.

The city says the inclement weather has resulted in an increase in electricity demand.

This has also led to a spike in illegal connections.

Residents will be without power from 6pm until 10pm daily, and this will last until Sunday.
