HARARE - Cholera cases are on the rise in Zimbabwe after an outbreak three months ago.
By the end of this week, 834 cases had been recorded from the country's 10 provinces.
Government has attributed the outbreak to poor sanitation, contaminated water supplies and cross-border mobility.
The capital Harare is one of the cholera hotspots.
Mayor Jacob Mafume says contaminated water sources are behind the outbreak in the capital, but he believes the situation is under control.
