Chiloane to visit school after pupil stabbed to death

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane is visiting a Sebokeng school on Monday.

It follows the murder of a grade 10 pupil on Thursday.

This is the second stabbing at the Dinokaneng Secondary School in a week.

The incident apparently took place outside the premises after school hours.

The boy was rushed to hospital but was certified dead on arrival.

A grade 11 pupil from the same school was stabbed on Wednesday.

The department says it believes the incidents are linked to rampant gangsterism in the area.

A psycho-social support team will be sent to the school on Monday.
