PRETORIA - The High Court in Pretoria delivered a landmark ruling on Monday.
It changes the way consent is understood in cases of sexual violence.
Moving forward, those accused must demonstrate they took 'objectively reasonable steps' to ascertain consent.
The application was brought by The Embrace Project.
Founder, Lee-Anne Germanos Manuel discussed this with eNCA.
