CAPE TOWN - Mop up operations are underway at the several informal settlements ravaged by fires over the weekend.

Fire fighters have had their hands full over, responding to distress calls in Langa, Mfuleni, and Du Noon in Milnerton.
Two people have died and aid groups estimate that over 700 people are displaced,
with around 300 structures destroyed.
