Cape Town bus project back on the road

CAPE TOWN - One of Cape Town’s major Myciti Bus projects disrupted by the construction mafia is back on track.

The city has obtained an interdict against extortionists delaying it. 

Completition of the Spine Road MyCiTi Project -- which is 65 percent done -- will be finished by May next year.

Tens of Thousands of people from Mitchells Plain and Khayelitsha will benefit. 

The Myciti expansion is a multibillion-rand project which includes electric busses.
