KRIEL - Potential community outrage has been averted in Ga-Nala in Mpumalanga.
That’s after bail was denied to the three locals allegedly involved in the kidnapping of a high school pupil.
Residents had threatened to take matters into their own hands if Sibongile Mkhwanazi, Nkosingiphile Nkosi, and Mpumelelo Mkhize were released.
But Magistrate Edward Mdluli said the trio didn't provide enough reasons to gain their freedom.
Four other accused in the matter had already abandoned their bail bid.
