JOHANNESBURG - Cigarette manufacturer British American Tobacco, BAT South Africa, is calling on the new government of national unity, to prioritise the fight against the illicit tobacco trade.
BAT says the crime drains close to R24-billion annually from tax revenues, and devastates local tobacco farming.
