JOHANNESBURG - South Africa, through its representative at the Pan-African Parliament, is calling for a forensic probe into the finances of the continental parliament.
This comes amid claims that previous leaders have misappropriated funds.
Pan-African Parliament MP Pemmy Majodina argues that the culprits are known.
Because of these allegations, the African Union has now cut allowances for MPs who attend the continental parliamentary sessions.
Majodina says the law must take its course.
"They must come and pay for their sins."
