Call for Hawks to revive Krugersdorp gang-rape case

JOHANNESBURG - It's been almost a year since the brutal Krugersdorp gang rape and robbery.

And it seems police are nowhere near finding the perpetrators.

There was widespread outrage when suspects were released because due to lack of evidence.

Gender activist, Lisa Vetten, is calling for the Hawks to revive the case.

Police say the matter is still under investigation and wouldn't comment any further.
