Cadre deployment policy | Court case continues

JOHANNESBURG - The ANC is arguing that it's not cadre deployment that should be attacked, but the illegal agencies that use state institutions.

The party is fighting tooth and nail to defend the cadre deployment policy.

The DA has taken it to court, saying the policy is a cancer that enables corruption in state institutions.

The ANC insists that its cadre deployment policy isn’t being used to favour candidates politically.

One of its submissions accuses the DA of trying to censure the governing party and limiting its freedom of choice.

The two political giants are squaring off in the high court in Pretoria over the cadre deployment policy.

The court matter is expected to continue on Tuesday.
