ULUNDI - Inkatha Freedom Party President Velenkosini Hlabisa says party founder, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi's main goal was to uplift communities.
Hlabisa says Buthelezi achieved this by building and contributing to various educational and health institutes.
He says people were also able to support their families through Buthelezi's leadership even during apartheid.
Hlabisa was speaking at Buthelezi's funeral service in Ulundi on Saturday.
The IFP founder and political stalwart died last weekend aged 95.
