JOHANNESBURG - Brixton residents in Johannesburg have been left in the dark, after a substation caught fire.
The incident took place on Sunday night.
City Power believes overloading was responsible and says the pumping of water has also been affected.
It says Joburg Water will advise residents on the way forward.
Meanwhile, a contractor is set to begin with repairs on Monday.
It's unclear how long this will take, but City Power says it'll keep the residents updated.
