JOHANNESBURG - Bongani Baloyi’s relationship with ActionSA has come to an end.
This over differences arising from the running of Gauteng province.
The former Midvaal Mayor served as the party’s Gauteng chairperson after joining from the Democratic Alliance.
It’s understood irreconcilable differences between him and party leader Herman Mashaba led to Baloyi's resignation.
The party says Baloyi declined the offer to become the party’s national spokesperson and a member of the Senate.
Baloyi is expected to announce his future plans at a media briefing.
