Bogus doctors | Woman posing as doctor arrested at Tembisa Hospital

JOHANNESBURG - The SA Medical Association is calling for tighter security at health facilities.

It follows the arrest of a woman posing as a doctor at Tembisa Hospital on Tuesday.

She is expected to appear in court soon.

Gauteng Health is warning patients and healthcare professionals to be wary of bogus practitioners.

Mvuyisi Mzukwa, Chairperson of the SA Medical Association, said people posing as healthcare professionals are exposing patients to risk.
