Blackouts continue this week

JOHANNESBURG - Eskom has announced stage two blackouts from 4pm to 5am until further notice.

The utility says it continues to suffer generation unit breakdowns and the blackouts are necessary to replenish emergency generation reserves.

South Africans have been experiencing the worst blackouts in the country's history this year.

Over 100 days of blackouts have been recorded.
