Bester alleged accomplices charged with murder, arson, fraud

BLOEMFONTEIN - Two men accused of aiding and abetting Thabo Bester’s elaborate prison break have made their first court appearance.

The pair faces several charges, including murder and defeating the ends of justice.

The former G4S employee and Bester’s partner Nandipha Magudumana's father have been implicated in the convicted murderer’s escape from the Mangaung Correctional Centre.

They will be back in court next week.
