BERGVILLE - The Bergville man accused of stabbing seven family members, and killing five, is expected to make a formal bail application on 23 October.
Mlamuli Khoza (28) made his second court appearance in the Bergville magistrate's court on Wednesday.
Community members joined the relatives of the victims in calling for the court not to grant the accused bail.
Inside the packed courtroom, Khoza kept his head down and occasionally looked up as his lawyer announced his intention to apply for bail.
