ALICE - A bail rulling is expected in the trial into murders and assassination attempts at Fort hare University.
The accused will return to the Dimbaza magistrate's court on Monday morning.

Among the accused is police constable Lindokuhle Manjati.
It’s believed he recruited hitmen from KwaZulu-Natal and transported them to the Eastern Cape.

The men are charged for the murders of vice-chancellor Sakhela Buhlungu’s bodyguard Mboneli Vesele and UFH fleet manager Petrus Roets, as well as the attempted murder of Buhlungu.
He was fighting corruption at the institution and it’s believed the assassinations were linked to his probes.
