Bail ruling expected for alleged insurance claims killer

MAHIKENG - A bail ruling is expected in the trial against alleged insurance claims killer Agnes Setshwantsho.

She faces four charges, including the murder of her niece, fraud and defeating the ends of justice.

Setshwantsho was arrested last November and is still being investigated for the deaths of her son, daughters and husband.

She's alleged to have taken out 50 insurance policies on her extended family.

The accused told the court she's willing to surrender her passport, if the state believes she is flight risk.

The prosecution argues that it has a very strong case with overwhelming evidence against the accused and is ready to ventilate the matter in a trial.
