Babita Deokaran | SIU comments on whistleblower's death three years after assassination
PRETORIA - Friday is the third anniversary of the assassination of Babita Deokaran.
The health official was gunned down for exposing tender corruption at Thembisa Hospital and the Gauteng health department.
While six men were sentenced to prison terms ranging from six to 22 years for the murder, the people who orchestrated it are still unidentified.
The Special Investigating Unit says work is underway to bring to book the masterminds, involved in the tender corruption.
The SIU's Kaizer Kganyago discussed this with eNCA.
