Aziz Pahad to be honoured with Special Official Funeral Category 2

JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa has declared a Special Official Funeral Category 2 for Aziz Pahad.

The struggle stalwart died on Wednesday, aged 82, and condolences have been pouring in since.

The funeral will take place on Saturday at the West Park Cemetery in Johannesburg.

Pahad was Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister between 1994 and 2008.

His death follows that of his brother, Essop Pahad earlier this year.
