CAPE TOWN - Axed city of Cape Town Mayco member for Human Settlements Malusi Booi says two months after being kicked out of office, he is still waiting to be charged for alleged fraud and corruption.
In March members of the SAPS Commercial Crimes unit raided Booi’s office and seized electronic devices and documents.
He is alleged to be involved with tender fraud involving members of Cape Town’s underworld.
Booi denies the claim, adding that there are people who are bent on tarnishing his good name.
