DURBAN - eThekwini has had another year of grappling with a persistent water crisis.
Restricted access to water caused frustrated residents to take to the streets, while authorities tried to fix ailing infrastructure.
A 12-month water curtailment implemented in October to stop high usage did not ease concerns about the water situation in eThekwini.
eThekwini says it will monitor the progress of efforts to cut water use by 8.4 percent through curtailment, warning that restricters will be installed in the homes of water guzzlers.
