PIETERMARITZBURG - It’s another week in court for former president Jacob Zuma.
He’s back at the High Court in Pietermaritzburg on Tuesday in his bid to remove lead prosecutor, Billy Downer.
Zuma alleges Downer illegally leaked his confidential medical information to the media.
The former President and arms manufacturer Thales face fraud, corruption and money laundering charges.
This dates back to the late 90s.
The much-delayed trial has already seen Judge Piet Koen recuse himself from the matter.
Zuma goes back to court just days after being released from prison via a 'special remission' approved by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
He was sentenced to 15 months for contempt of court for refusing to appear before the Zondo Commission.
