PRETORIA - Former Bosasa Chief Financial Officer Angelo Agrizzi will have to appear in court virtually for his two cases.
That's the ruling of the High Court in Pretoria.
Agrizzi has not attended any of his court appearances since October 2020, with his lawyers saying he is too sick to do so.
He will also not need a psychiatric evaluation for now, as that matter has been left for the trial court.
Agrizzi faces fraud and corruption charges for a R1.8-billion tender that the Correctional Services Department awarded Bosasa between 2004 and 2007.
The matter has been postponed to 20 July, with the state now intending to bring an application for separation of trial.
