ETHEKWINI - The ANC is intent on regaining lost ground in Kwazulu-Natal.
Political parties are gearing up for the 2026 local government elections.
On Saturday, the ANC KwaZulu-Natal task team met with alliance partners to iron out issues.
eNCA reporter Nkosikhona Malinga-Mnisi spoke with ANC KZN PTT convener Jeff Radebe who said, "the meeting yesterday with the political council of the alliance went extremely well."
"All alliance partners were present at this meeting. We presented all the issues that affect the alliance in KwaZulu Natal, in particular the disaster that happened in the provincial and national elections in 2024."
"So all of us together, the ANC, the SACP, Cosatu, as well as Sanco said we need to move as one in order to ensure that the alliance that has happened for many decades in South Africa must proceed," he said.
