JOHANNESBURG - ANC top brass are meeting on Monday to discuss former president Thabo Mbeki's scathing letter to deputy president Paul Mashatile.
In the letter, Mbeki expresses his disdain for the way the party has handled the Phala Phala farm saga, Eskom and other matters.
ANC First Deputy Secretary-General, Nomvula Mokonyane, says the letter was not meant for the public and that the governing party will work on a resolution with Mbeki.
"Officials will reflect on it as the Secretary General (Fikile Mbalula) has indicated. Once we have reflected on the content, we will be able to respond to Comrade Thabo Mbeki," Mokonyane said.
