JOHANNESBURG - The ANC has failed in its latest bid to hide its cadre deployment records from the DA.
The Supreme Court of Appeal has dismissed with costs, the party's application for leave to appeal a Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) ruling that ANC cadre deployment records must be shared with the DA.
The court ruled an appeal has no prospects for success.
The ANC will now have to hand over its cadre deployment records to the opposition party.
Earlier this year, the DA succeeded in its court bid to force the ANC to hand over the complete records of its cadre deployment committee since January 2013, when Ramaphosa became its chairperson.
