ANC hosts interfaith prayer vigil for Palestine

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa will be returning to the International Court of Justice in relation to the conflict between Israel and Hamas-led Palestinian militant groups which has been taking place since the 7 October 2023. 

The ANC held an interfaith prayer and a candlelight vigil in solidarity with the people of Palestine on Sunday.

During his address at the Regina Mundi Church in Soweto, the party's chairperson in Gauteng, Panyaza Lesufi, supported the bid to rename Sandton Drive after Leila Khaled.
