JOHANNESBURG - The African National Congress in Mangaung has expelled eight councilors for defying the party by voting with the opposition.
This comes after the Democratic Alliance won the role of speaker and deposed the ruling party.
ANC regional chairperson Lawrence Mathae believes the eight betrayed the party.
Mathae was speaking during a council meeting in Mangaung.
