JOHANNESBURG - The ANC's Electoral Committee denies purging members who want to contest for NEC positions.
It says the party is instead trying to strengthen its vetting systems.
The remarks come after Tony Yengeni's appeal to contest the elective conference was granted while Bathabile Dlamini's disqualification was upheld.
