ANC elective conference | Kalako says WC has highest rate of factionalism

CAPE TOWN - ANC Interim Western Cape Committee Convenor Lerumo Kalako says the province has the highest levels of factionalism.

Kalako was delivering the party's political report as the conference to elect new leadership is underway.

"The state of the organisation and the dire situation of our finances were not as devastating to the political programme as the highest levels of factionalism in the province," he said.

"Factionalism affected this IPC dearly. The composition of the IPC was along factional lines."
