The ANC election committee defends vetting process

JOHANNESBURG - The ANC's electoral committee is denying it is targetting certain individuals.

The party says the rules of disqualification are guided by the 2017 conference.

It comes after ANC veterans Tony Yengeni and Bathabile Dlamini were deemed not eligible for NEC positions.

Dlamini is legally challenging the decision, while Yengeni says it will finish the movement.
