CAPE TOWN - President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to deliver his State of the Nation Address on Thursday evening.
It's set to be an uneventful one after new rules prohibiting any disruptions were announced by National Assembly speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula.

The sitting brings together the three arms of the State under one roof, so expect a lot of pomp and ceremony.
The activities include a 21-gun salute, an aircraft flypast, a ceremonial guard, the step guard salute, the singing of the national anthem, a full military band, and ceremonial processions.
Road closures are in place and City Hall has been secured for SONA.
