Alexandra calls for complete shutdown of foreign owned spaza shops

ALEXANDRA, JOHANNESBURG - Community leaders in Alexandra say the situation there is tense, following the death of an 11-year-old girl from suspected food poisoning.

There are growing calls for government's intervention in regulating spaza shops in townships.
