Addressing SA's water woes on govt's 2025 top agenda

CAPE TOWN - Minister of Water and Sanitation, Pemmy Majodina backs president Cyril Ramaphosa's commitment to deal with water issues within the country. 

This as water scarcity remains a significant concern.

On 11 January President Cyril Ramaphosa said the water crisis is a national emergency, and he's promised to address infrastructure issues at the same time dealing with alleged "water mafias" sabotaging infrastructure.

While Majodina could not provide an exact amount needed to deal with the countries water woes she said they would be in talks with the government to ensure that funds are made available.
