JOHANNESBURG - Action SA provincial leader, Bongani Baloyi says the Democratic Alliance is a big obstacle to the success of coalitions.
He's gone as far as accusing the party of arrogance.
The DA is still reeling from the removal of the Johannesburg council speaker last week.

Baloyi said, "it's also exacerbated by the arrogance of the DA who seem to believe they have won electoral majority support."
"One way to demonstrate this to you....you would have an appreciation that the three key positions, mayor, chief whip and speaker....DA has captured all three."
"[The] DA has been the single biggest obstacle in these coalitions and I believe Johannesburg was stable but if we don't give up those positions of the speaker and the chief whip we are going to lose these metros back to the ANC."
