ActionSA appoints Funzi Ngobeni as Gauteng leader

JOHANNESBURG - ActionSA has appointed Funzi Ngobeni as its Gauteng chairperson following the resignation of Bongani Baloyi on Monday.

In a statement, party leader Herman Mashaba says he has concluded engagements with the senate and Gauteng PEC structures on the decision to appoint Ngobeni.

Ngobeni has served in the City of Joburg council.

Meanwhile, it is understood irreconcilable differences between Baloyi and Mashaba led to the former chairperson's resignation.
