JOHANNESBURG -The Department of Transport says the Concourt ruling on the AARTO Act is a victory for better addressing the issue of the country's road carnage.
The Constitutional Court declared the Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offenses Act (AARTO) as valid.

This judgment overturned the one made by the high court in Pretoria, which deemed the act invalid and unconstitutional.
The application had been lodged by OUTA.
