VILLIERS, Free State - Reckless and drunk driving have been highlighted as the biggest contributors to road fatalities in South Africa.
719 deaths have been recorded since the beginning of the festive season - 0.8% decrease compared to the same period last year.
But Transport Minister, Sindisiwe Chikunga, says this figure is way too high.
Chikunga briefed the media on the country's road stats.
