51 Cops arrested in 100 days of Mthombeni in office
JOHANNESBURG - It’s a little over a hundred days since Gauteng Provincial Police Commissioner, Tommy Mthombeni, took office.
He says despite a rise in violent crime, police are winning the war.
At least 51 officers have been arrested in the province since March. They face charges ranging from corruption to rape and murder.
Our reporter Pule Letshwiti-Jones caught up with the commissioner on Thursday.
