JOHANNESBURG - Clergy leaders say the role of churches in peacekeeping efforts during elections later this month can’t be overstated.
These are the sentiments to emerge from an election prayer service held at the Grace Bible Church in Soweto.
The church fraternity says prayer has played a central role in the transition of South Africa to democracy.
The gathering prayed for political party leaders as they prepare for polls on 29 May.
