2024 elections | MK Party to hold rally in NMB

EAST LONDON - After a week of court battles, it's back to the campaign trail for former President Jacob Zuma and his uMkhonto we Sizwe party.

The party will host a rally in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro in the Eastern Cape.

This week, Zuma won his case against the IEC.

He challenged the Electoral Commission's decision to have him removed from its list of candidates eligible to contest the polls.

The IEC removed Zuma citing his criminal charge.

His lawyers however argued that the IEC failed to take into consideration his remission of sentence.

The IEC has filed an application with the Constitutional Court, seeking leave to appeal the ruling.
